Garni, a major village in Armenia, is well known for its classical temple. Dedicated to god Mythra, this mysterious temple has Hellenic style architecture. It is perhaps the famous monument in the Pre-Christian era as well as the only surviving pagan temple in the country.

What we see now is the restoration of the early temple, which was once destroyed. Stunning surroundings and tranquil ambiance of the place attracts a lot of tourists.




Fondly known as “Armenian Switzerland ”, Dilijan is a natural haven located amidst the lush evergreen forests. Beyond its incredible natural beauty, this place has ages old monasteries such as Haghartsin, Goshavank, and Matosavank, which are perfect examples of medieval architecture.

This much-loved spa town is now becoming a thriving center for Armenian art and culture activities. Dilijan Mineral water is widely accepted for its curative properties.

Best time to visit


Armenia is best visited during late May and early June or at the end of September and beginning of October. Climate is pleasant and comfortable for vacation during this time. The months of December, January and February are extremely cold in Armenia and it is better to avoid traveling during this time.

Safety and security


The country is a very safe place with a less number of criminal offenses. It is advisable that visitors should take some precautions such as avoid walking alone at night, driving in remote places, taking care of valuable things in your hand. Also, taking care of yourselves while crossing roads.

  • Always carry a passport with you.
  • Use of drugs illegally can be charged with huge fines along with long-term imprisonment.
