Dubai Rotating Tower – Another Wonder in The Making

Maybe the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind when thinking about Dubai is the amazing creativity of its architecture!

Truly so, someone who visited Dubai would have surely felt that it has not left any barriers in construction, and the numerous terrific skyscrapers underline that fact. No wonder, we can call Dubai ‘the focal point of ground-breaking architecture’, and this Emirate continues to excite everyone time & again with some unique trends in construction.

Now, after ‘Burj Khalifa’ and ‘Dubai Frame’, Dubai and UAE are getting ready for another glorious achievement ‘World First Rotating Skyscraper in Dubai!’

Dubai Rotating Tower

Wondering what it is??? It is in the very name and that says it all! The skyscraper that rotates!

This cutting-edge concept was first proposed by Israel-Italian architect ‘David Fischer’. This dynamic tower construction is in the initial planning and expected to begin within a couple of years’ time.

Rotating Dubai Skyscraper will be 1,375 feet in height with 80 separate rotating floors that are connected to a central column. Considering the height of this skyscraper, it is expected to be the 3rd tallest skyscraper of Dubai after the phenomenal ‘Burj Khalifa’ and ‘Marina 101’.

The primary/most fascinating thing about this tower is its 360-degree panoramic views. The residents can have 360-degree visuals of the city without even moving from their apartment. Moreover, the residents can adjust the rotational speed, direction, and even stop through the voice-activated command system. Thus, this tower won’t look like the same all the time, it will be shape-shifting!

Along with the designated title ‘world’s first rotating skyscraper’ is also deemed to be the ‘first prefabricated tower’ as well. As the entire tower need not be constructed in one place; 90% parts of this building can be built on off-sites (except the central column); once it’s completed, blocks can be shifted to on-site, and joined part-by-part.

Most importantly, this self-rotating tower is self-sufficient in terms of operating cost also. It will generate its energy via wind turbines, and the solar panel that will be placed on each level. So, it will cover its own working expenditure. For sure, it will be a trendsetting concept!

When it comes to the estimated amount, it is numerically as huge as Dubai’s architectures. Each unit has been estimated to an amount of around $30 million; hence Dubai rotating tower construction will be completed on a massive budget.

As the land of architectural landmarks, Dubai is all set to add one more jewel in the architectural crown!

In short, this Dynamic Tower Dubai simply symbolizes ‘nothing is impossible not only in reel life but in real life as well!

I am a history buff, adventurist and fanatic of different cultures and places. I started blogging in 2012 keeping in my mind that I can share my travel experience with my family and friends... From my childhood, I loved history, buildings, outdoor activities, but I never knew I love to pen down my experiences. After each trip, I used to send my friends the photos I click and one of them asked me “Why don’t you start a blog, it will make easier for you and us”. That statement was the spark that has inspired me to step into blogging. Today I love blogging just the way I love exploring places…. I quit my job and I am completely into travelling and blogging...Thanks to my friends and family for backing me every time! I explore places that are not explored well, I write about the places I visit. The passion to travel and the soul to write makes my life colourful!
