Explore the rich past and the vibrant present of Abu Dhabi, the largest and the capital Emirate of United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi located on an island shaped as T-letter extending out into the Arabian Gulf from the central western coast and it’s almost 02 hours drive from Dubai or Sharjah. Abu Dhabi is the city where you feel the typical Arabian pulse with the city’s lifestyle that involves proud skylines with iconic buildings to sandy shores.
Your Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai starts when you meet OceanAir Travels’ tour guide at your selected location or hotel. Your drive begins in an AC vehicle to Abu Dhabi, which is about 178 KM away from Dubai (approx. 01:45 hours). Enjoy the ride while listening to your tour guide’s stories about one of the richest cities in the world. Once you reach the destination, start with a visit to one of the top Abu Dhabi attractions - the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. One of the biggest mosques in the world, which accommodates some 40,000 worshipers inside its walls, this Mosque showcases the cultural diversity of the Islamic world. It’s an expression of a visionary leader who believed that nothing is impossible and the most gracious achievements start from the very heart.
Then we will drive down to the city’s Corniche, an eight-kilometer long pristine waterfront which has been awarded coveted Blue-flag status, a guarantee for clean and safe bathing water. Next, pass by the glamorous Emirates Palace. It has got 302 rooms and 92 suites, with many furnished in gold and marble! Then take a look from the other side at the adjacent luxurious Presidential Palace. Proceed further for another photo-stop at a landmark Abu Dhabi structure, the Etihad Towers, which is more famously known as the Skyscraper in “Fast & Furious 7” movie. Watch how five elegant towers stand together, giving wonderful views to onlookers!
Our Abu Dhabi tour from Dubai continues as we take a quick look of the Emirate’s history at the UAE Heritage Village. Traditional sides of the desert way of life, including a camp with coffee pots, a tent goats’ hair, and the falaj system, are displayed in the open area museum. There you may visit the Abu Dhabi Museum that’s located inside the Heritage Village. In this campus you will also come across various craftsmen exhibiting time-tested native skills. Soon it’ll be time for a one-hour break. Re-energize yourselves after all those visits with a tasty lunch at the Heritage Village Resort, or, at the Marina Mall (at your own expenses; unless otherwise you’ve availed the lunch option with advance payment).
Then visit the Sheikh Zayed Centre (closed on Fridays & Saturdays) adjoining the Heritage Village - a ‘must not miss’ in your things to do in Abu Dhabi. There, get familiarized with the exemplarily life of the late UAE ruler, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Father of UAE Nation. It was his vision that united the Seven Emirates and turned the country into a global power. We will now be going more into the old-world Abu Dhabi with a visit to the Dates Market, which is located inside the historic fruit and vegetable market at Port Zayed in Abu Dhabi. Hardly in any other marketplace you will find such a wide range of Middle Eastern Date Fruits... As you walk along numerous shops of dried fruits and dates, you may also stop in between to taste a few.
Finally, before our return, we shall have a taste of the city’s newer attractions as we take you for a photo session at the man-made structural beauty, Yas Island. Once you finish the tour in Abu Dhabi you will be driven back to your selected location or hotel.

I just came back from my Abu Dhabi tour and I am so much excited to share my experience with you all. I had visited the city 10 years back and so I was very much curious to see how the city has changed. The grand mosque visit was inspiring, it was like nothing I have ever seen before. I didn’t want to come back from there. If there is a place in Abu Dhabi I would like to visit again and again, that will be Grand Mosque. Pretty much impressed seeing the wonderful constructional style of Etihad towers and Emirates Palace. I absolutely loved my time in the heritage village and Sheikh Zayed Center. I had never come across such a site, where is so much to learn, it was superb experience and feeling honored being able to visit.

Booked this tour prior as I was longing for the same for long. One of my colleagues experienced this tour with ocean air travels before 2 months. He suggested the same for my family. After hearing his experiences, I was totally excited. So we booked it early with his help. The excursion was quite pleasing as he said. What I attracted most is this package is very suitable for any kind of travelers like family, honeymooners, and even for solo travelers. So, it was a good experience for me and my family. I pretty sure my family were thoroughly enjoyed this outing as they are happy from the beginning to the end. My daughter wished to stay more time at Corniche area; she loved that destination very well. I promised her another trip to Abu Dhabi with corniche area visit.

Friends, I am just back from Abu Dhabi. I can’t forget the magical experiences I got from every nook and corner of the city. I have always been dreaming to visit this city but I couldn’t imagine I really would do it. Grand Mosque was one of those places that I have seen on instagram many times. So quite naturally we had an urge in visiting the place. Cornice was a nice place to visit. I loved to see many kids running around and looking curious to everywhere. Heritage village was also great. I think this is one of the best museums ever visited. So interesting as well as enjoyable. Dates market was colorful with variety of dates. Will be back again.
