Itinerary

On arrival in Cochin you will receive a warm welcome from our representative waiting at the airport. After baggage clearance, you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, walk around Fort Cochin to acquire the historical and cultural importance of Cochin. The glory of this place lies in the Monuments, Places of worships and palaces built by the colonizers, and all these will speak to you about the life of this domicile. Stop at St. Francis Church which is built by Portuguese Franciscan friars in 1503. Then proceed to the ancient Chinese Fishing nets display on the bank of the backwater. Even today fishermen of Cochin use these Fishing Nets. Later proceed to the Dutch palace, you will be amazed at the spectacular paintings on walls and the large artistic possessions of this historically important place. Afterwards proceed to the Jew Street and enter the Jewish synagogue to enjoy the unique style with which it was constructed.

By afternoon, you will start off to Munnar, the green paradise of Kerala. Munnar, which means “three rivers”, is located at the confluence of Mudrapuhza, Nallathanni and Kundala rivers. En-route you will be captivated by the magnificence of waterfalls, spice and tea plantations and the wildlife. On arrival check in to the hotel.

After breakfast get ready to enthral in the exquisiteness of Munnar. Your first stopover will be Eravikulam National Park. Enriched with rolling grasslands and tropical green forests, this National Park invites visitors to enjoy its mysterious and cool environment. On reaching there, get amazed at the views of the valley and the laterite Rocky Mountains atop. Later in the afternoon, spend your time for sightseeing and boating (optional) at Mattupetty Dam and Lake.

After that enter the Tea Museum, a memorable spot renowned for its scenic beauty, set up at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea..The Museum has got a collection of domestic items of that era, which includes type writers, Wooden Bathtub, Furniture, Magneto Phones, Manual Calculators, Iron Oven and the EPABX of the 1909 telephone system. These collections will take you back to the olden days. In the demonstration room you can pacify your taste buds with the flavours of different varieties of tea. Return to hotel for relaxing to sleep.

After breakfast prepare for a drive into Kerala’s preferred wildlife destination, Thekkady. After an incredible journey through the hills and valleys of Western Ghats, you will reach the jungle destination. Upon arrival you will be transferred to hotel. You are free to go for watching butterflies, birds and other wildlife, or enjoy boating in the artificial lake nourished by Periyar River and get glimpses of wildlife...

After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kumarakom - a charming emerald peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake dotted with innumerable traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Proceed to Alleppey by road after breakfast. After arrival, check-in at the houseboat in backwaters of Kerala. Alleppey is a charming emerald peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake dotted with innumerable traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Spend the rest of the day cruising through beautiful backwaters. Overnight in the houseboat.
